The Viper V3 HyperSpeed immediately impresses with its shiny casing, which, surprisingly, stays smudge-free despite its smooth surface. This right-handed mouse offers a full-bodied design that fills the palm, providing a high-precision grip. While optimized for claw and fingertip grips, it also works well for palm grippers. Measuring 12.7 x 6.4 x 4.0 cm, it’s slightly narrower and lower than the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.
The main buttons are slightly flared yet streamlined within the frame, and the compact mouse wheel, though more plastic than rubber, is very responsive. The V3 HyperSpeed includes eight programmable buttons, counting the mouse wheel’s three clicks.

The mouse features a Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, with a top resolution of 30,000 DPI, a max speed of 750 inches per second, and a max acceleration of 70 G. This sensor delivers impressive accuracy and speed, particularly in FPS games.
The V3 HyperSpeed’s buttons, featuring Razer’s Gen 2 Mechanical Switches, felt soft and quick, allowing rapid actuation without significant speed loss.
Software
Razer’s Synapse app allows for extensive customization, including DPI settings, polling rate, and command programming. A standout feature is the Asymmetric Cut-off, which lets you select both liftoff and landing distances for tracking, offering 26 granular distances to choose from, enhancing gameplay for those prone to lifting the mouse.
