Turtle Beach is known for making some great headsets and the Elite Atlas is no exception, is bring tournament performance to your game with great sound to add.

Even though the name says Turtle Beach Elite Atlas PC, the headset can be used on all major devices and consoles as well. You will not get all the features such as the Windows Sonic surround sound, but it is still great to be able to use it on what you please.

A feature that I loved is that the earcups can be adjusted to alleviate ear cushion pressure, this is easily done by removing the magnetic speaker plates, then the ear cushion and adjusting a strap. Sometimes I take out my contact lenses at night after a long day at work then put on my glasses and hate playing with headsets, but with this little feature it causes no problem on my ears.

The design of the headset is great and does deliver comfort, after hours of gaming I still got the “my ears are getting worn” feeling. The 50mm Nanoclear speaker offer brilliant sound giving you less distortion. The removable mic is always a plus and they also use the Truspeak technology in the Elite Atlas. The magnetic speaker plates offer some customizable options, but all plates are sold separately.

The Turtle Beach Elite Atlas is a great option at R1999, it offers great PC surround sound and still has great sound with other devices. The comfort does last longer than other headsets and the option for glasses relief is a great benefit.
