Time to hit the greens again with the new Gold Club release, the first game in the series was released back in 2014 and brought something fresh to the table, the latest instalment might just break it.
The Golf Club 2019 has a great new inclusion which is the PGA Tour, this has always been with EA’s golf game but they haven’t had a release since 2015 with Rory Mcllroy PGA Tour. The Golf Club started off slow, getting the gameplay and mechanics correct with simple and basic modes. With the second game, they started expanding and things started looking more interesting than just a standard Golf game. Now with The Golf Club 2019 we have almost everything we need for a solid Golf game. You have the PGA, you can create courses, online modes, you can create your own player and you can customize stuff.
Those are all some important things to have in your sport game, but the biggest thing is your base gameplay and The Golf Club has a solid one form the start. With the Golf Club 2019 getting all these extras and having the PGA tour associated with it as well, it makes it the Golf game to buy.
The developers didn’t just leave it for the PGA tour part to sell the game for them, they improved the gameplay mechanics and the tutorial/guide system works tremendously well.
I’m thoroughly enjoying travelling the greens in the Golf Club 2019 and will go hit some balls every now and then for a long time to come. This is game is a must have for golf fans and at last a game that we can be proud of to own.
