The gods of rock decided that it was about time we gamers needed a headset that can perform as we do, so they gave us the Razer ManO’War! Not to be confused with the American Metal band Manowar (even though the band’s songs rock on the Razer ManO’War). The Razer ManO’War is a 7.1 wireless headset with a built in mic and it has leather-like ear cups which makes it a very comfortable wear for hours. At first when I tried the headset out and updated the Razer synapse, I found that the bass on the headset was not up to my standard. This however was easily corrected in the Razer Synapse software, a little bit of tweaking, the EQ here and there got the sound reproduction up to my preferred liking (I really want to BLOW my Speakers sound away). I loved the fact that I could walk around talking to my friend (we were waiting for our League of Legends game to start)! The quality of the sound I got from the mic was also outstanding, it was clear, crisp and I couldn’t pick up any of the background noise from the TV that was on. The battery life on the ManO’War is also to take note of as it kept on going for almost 2 days before I had to get it charged again. This was also because I switched the Chroma to its lowest setting. Overall I am really happy with the Razer ManO’War, there was the bit of a hiccup with the bass but that was sorted out quickly. For the price that you pay for the unit you are definitely getting your money’s worth. I would definitely recommend this to anybody upgrading their headsets on PC or even for your Consoles. This is your local mad scientist signing out…..I need a broadsword to complete my ManO’War!!
