“When it comes to those decisive game-changing moments, you need the right gear to clutch victory from the jaws of defeat. MSI Clutch series GAMING mice use the best components to make sure you can depend on your mouse. So that when that moment comes, you are ready to Clutch!”

Well here we have a very interesting piece of equipment brought to you by MSI. A modular fully ambidextrous mouse. Yes you heard right. And it has all the bells and whistles including huge thumb rest for right and especially left handed people. This is not the first time that we see a modular mouse but credit to MSI for taking the jump and creating a super versatile mouse.

Let’s start off with the sensor. The GM60 sports a 10800 DPI PixArt PMW3330 Optical sensor and it is a truly superb sensor. It is responsive with no delay. The mouse lives up to its name with this sensor as you are really able to clutch when it is required. You can adjust the sensor to your needs and even move it down to 1 DPI although that is completely unusable in a gaming aspect you still have the ability if you really want to. The cycle button (which can be customized through the MSI software makes changing DPI on the fly a breeze) It also boasts a 3000 hz polling rate which is superb and gives you the edge

Now onto the design of the mouse. Every gamers style is different, from the size of your hand to the grip style you prefer. MSI has made provision for most of this with the GM60.

It’s so simple switching between configurations on the mouse. If you enjoy full thumb support just pop off the side panel and clip in the panel that you would like, or just leave it off if you prefer a plain mouse. The only problem that I picked up while using the mouse is that the front magnet sometimes pops off if you are heavy on the mouse. The mouse has a rather long design coming in at 130mm long, 65mm wide and 39 mm high. It would have been nice if there was an additional clip on panel to increase the overall height of the mouse, as that would have then put this mouse in a spot where it caters for a greater variety of grip styles

Then its 2019 so we must have RGB right? RGB gives you that extra edge of coolness that every gamer desires. Well don’t stress about it MSI has you covered. The GM60 has full RGB and is customizable through the Mystic light software. It even allows you to sync all your peripherals and pc components so all the RGB can sing in unity.

Overall I really enjoyed using the Clutch GM60. It fitted my claw style gaming with huge thumb support very well. I spent countless hours chasing my paragon points in season 16 of Diablo 3 and never missed a click (and yes I spam a lot of clicks). The GM60 is extremely well built and has a good weight to it. If you are looking at upgrading your mouse I would strongly recommend the GM60 as it is one of the most versatile on the market at the moment and the sensor is brilliant
