Josh Whedon

The best movie I have seen this year, a huge risk was taken to make this movie but it paid off in the end.

I could not wait to see this movie again and to now see it on Blu-Ray! Apart from the movie which we will get to momentarily, the Blu-Ray has some extra features including extended / deleted scenes, a gag reel, “making of” and an extra short film called Item 47. These are all nice features but I was really hoping that Marvel would add something extra to the Blu-Ray but it is still a must have for your collection.

I think Josh Whedon did an excellent job at writing and directing this film and you cannot throw Zak Penn away as he also wrote the story for this epic film. I personally think that to make this film took a huge risk as it contains not one but 6 Super Heroes. It’s hard enough to make a movie for one Super Hero as you have to worry about the fans, try and keep it close to the comics etc.

Marvel is really taking their movies to a whole new level, and The Avengers did not disappoint. It was action packed and every Super Hero had his/her spot light. They chose the actors well and I think that Mark Ruffalo has done a brilliant job in portraying the Hulk. Watching the movie for a second time was just as exciting as the first and I also saw some things I missed the first time around, I’m definitely going to watch this again a few times.

If you haven’t seen this film yet, you are definitely missing out on the best film this year. If you are a fan of Marvel comics this is a must have to add to your collection. Let’s hope and see if Marvel can keep this ride going…
