Feel the ground shake as the champion hits the floor…or is that from the missile destroying his village? Bloodsports.TV is an awesome indie Co-Op Hero Defense or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) title developed by Toadman Interactive and Fatshark. According to Wikipedia, Bloodsports.TV is a spin-off from Fatshark’s 2012 RPG called Krater: Shadows Over Solside, and links the two titles together in the same universe.

In Bloodsports.TV you control a Gladiator, which can be chosen from 4 different classes, namely Tank, Crowd Control (CC), Damage (DPS) and Healer. You can choose to play alone or together with up to 4 other players together in an arena, where once you start the game, waves of outlaws (creep) will come out and the Gladiators will have to defeat them, defending their Missile Silo from being destroyed. After all outlaws are defeated, you have a 60 second break to restore your Gladiator’s health, buy new items or upgrades, and jungle a little. Once the break is over the next waves comes, and this process repeats, until you reach waves 4, 7, and 10, when a village boss appears. (The wave 10 boss is INSANE!)

Bloodsports.TV has 5 difficulty levels, namely Amateur League, Pro League, Master League, and Apocalympics, with several sub-difficulties for each level. There is also an Endless Mode, which we did not get a chance to play, but if we ever do, we will post it below for you to enjoy. A very enjoyable title, worth the money and time. Good job good guys Toadman Interactive and Fatshark, you created a classic.

I pretty much started gaming on Famicom! For those who didnt survive the flood on the ark with Noah, this was an 1980's 8-bit console using interchangeable cartridges. (Google it, it will blow your mind!). From there things got a bit more hardcore, and I started playing DOS-Based games, (Again...google is your friend.) and that progressed through Windows 3.1, until the present where I enjoy intense graphics, captivating story-lines, alternate endings and mind-numbing grinds on both PS3 and Windows PC. When I'm not gaming, I am a club DJ that enjoys playing House, Progressive, Trance, Tech and Minimal. I love watching Anime, my favorite shows are Naruto and Bleach. Epic, I know.
