It’s been roughly 5 years since the release of the amazing G502 spectrum and now Logitech graces us with the revised version of this amazing piece of tech. Ladies and gentlemen I present you the Logitech G502 Hero. As legend says, If it aint broken don’t fix it. And that is exactly what Logitech did. They kept the original shape and design and just tweaked it here and there. Absolutely brilliant

Ok so let’s dig into this amazing piece of tech. The G502 hero sports the brilliant 16K hero sensor which in my opinion is one of the best out there. You can jump from 100 DPI right up to 16000 DPI wherever your sweet spot is this mouse has it. It also boasts a 1MS report rate. While using this mouse I did not pick up any issues or delays. The sensor just keeps on performing no matter what your DPI selection is. Its buttery smooth with zero stutter. This mouse can easily replace your mouse on your gaming rig or your work pc as it is just that versatile.

The G502 also has 11 programmable buttons for ease of use. You can assign whatever you want to each button, and if you don’t want to use the button simply remove the binding to it. The Logitech G hub software allows you to make all these with minimal effort as the software is really easy to use. You can customize your quick DPI changes and even the quick “sniper” buttons DPI can be customized.

The mouse sits comfortably in your hands with its unique ergonomic design. The surface is smooth and glides around your desk. It is on the heavier side compared to others in its class, weighing in at 121g with an additional 18g that can be added with the weights supplied. It might just be me but I loved the fact that this mouse is a bit heavier as it gives me more control over my movement

The G Hub software allows for RGB customization as well so you can now have all your Logitech peripherals in sync, having the same RGB sync all around. Although the mouse does not feature a lot of lighting as it is just the Logitech G logo and your DPI buttons that light up, I think it is elegant and sleek and really suits this mouse not having over the top RGB. Maybe I am just old school like that

Overall I had an amazing time with this mouse. I used it across a vast platform of games, strategy, FPS, MMO, MOBA and RPG and the mouse did not let me down in any of them. The sensor performed like a champ and the mouse is extremely comfortable over extended periods of use. I did not get cramped hands once even after an 8 hour session of gameplay. Paired with my Logitech G513 this was an absolute dream combo
