South Africa — April. 21, 2020 — Logitech G, a brand of Logitech and leading innovator of gaming technologies and gear, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with South African-based esports gaming organisation – White Rabbit Gaming, one of the more prominent brands in the local competitive gaming scene.
White Rabbit’s biggest achievement was in 2016 when they claimed the inaugural VS Masters Dota 2 Championship, taking home one of the largest prize payouts at the time and beating long-standing dominating team Bravado Gaming. Since then, the organisation has focused on sending numerous teams overseas for international competitions and expanded into a host of competitive titles including tabletop games and sim racing.
White Rabbit Gaming have nurtured talent from a grassroots level and have developed players to go on to win major titles. They were also one of the first local organisations to promote female gamers in the space by acquiring gaming organisation Amaryllis Gaming – which focused on female-led competitive teams.

The White Rabbit Gaming signing will allow the organisation’s sim racer, Jason Absmeier, to race under the Logitech G banner. Absmeier is arguably one of the top up-and-coming racers to watch in South Africa following his incredible performance in the Solidarity e-Race earlier this month. Absmeier was the wild card entry in the final, starting last on the grid but claimed a fourth-place finish against fellow sim racers, motorsport loving gamers and real racing drivers who competed.

White Rabbit Gaming, like Logitech G’s existing partners, will benefit from the brand’s on-the-ground presence in the country and integrate into the development of new Logitech G technologies and gaming gear. The partnership, which will be in the form of a full sponsorship programme, will provide White Rabbit Gaming with financial support as well as connect its teams to a range of gaming equipment, including gear by Logitech G, Blue and Astro.
