“ PRO Wireless was designed to be the ultimate gaming mouse for esports professionals. Over a 2 year period, Logitech G collaborated with more than 50 professional players to find the perfect shape, weight and feel combined with our LIGHTSPEED wireless and HERO 16k sensor technologies. The result is a gaming mouse with unrivaled performance and precision, giving you the tools and confidence needed to win. “
When I received this mouse I was not sure if I would enjoy it as I am more of a thumb support kind of guy, but man oh man was I pleasantly surprised. It is not very often that you find a full ambidextrous mouse that is worthwhile. This mouse hits that point spot on. You can even choose to keep both sides buttons on (if you are able to pinky click) or you can blank it out with the provided plates in the box.
The mouse is rather small so it might be uncomfortable if you have big hands unless you are a claw gripper then you will be ok. I found the height of the mouse to be perfect and it shapes perfectly into my palm (I have medium sized hands). I did not experience any finger cramps or wrist strains during extended periods of gameplay. The mouse is one of the lightest in its class weighing in at only 80 grams, that’s all you get there are no extra weights that can be added which was a bit of a bummer for me as I prefer a bit of weight on the mouse. There is more than enough space at the bottom of the mouse to have added this, but the opening is used just to store the USB dongle. The buttons on the mouse works flawlessly and do not require excessive force to be clicked so you will never miss a click and the mouse wheel is amazing and makes scrolling and weapon changing a breeze.
Logitech has really nailed it with the sensor on the G pro wireless. As with any wireless mouse there will always be a concern of input lag, but to be honest I did not experience any input lag while playing with it. The G Pro boast a 16000 DPI sensor that can be adjusted to your needs through the Logitech G Hub software. The mouse does have a DPI button, but wait for it, it sits at the bottom of the mouse. Yes this helps keep the mouse clean and sleek but I really feel it should be at the top for on the fly switching, maybe it’s just me. The G Pro also has a full RGB logo so you can customize it to match your rig and Keyboard. The colour sync work beautifully with my Logitech G513 keyboard
I was impressed with the battery life as that can sometimes be a let down. I got about 60 hours of battery life with the RGB lighting off and about 50 with it on. The mouse can be used while charging with the 1.2m cable provided. Charging back to full battery life only takes about 4 hours.
Overall I was really impressed with this little mouse. The responsiveness of the lightspeed sensor is great. The buttons are durable and clicky. You get good battery life and the RGB lighting looks amazing when paired with other Logitech products through the G Hub software
