This is a story based on the life and rebellion of one of the most famous actors in the world. His fame came about due to his death when he died in a car accident at 24 in the year 1955.

Yes, the person I am talking about is James Dean. This film is seen through the camera lens of photographer Dennis Stock played by Robert Pattinson.

Dennis, a photographer for Life magazine, is a dreamer and wishes to one day be the greatest photographer who ever set foot on this world. His goal is to capture the beauty and vulnerability of the world, but right now he is placed on the side-lines of the red carpet to capture images of movie stars.

At an event he meets the young and aspiring James Dean. Dennis soon realizes that James is a bit afraid of what his future might hold so Dennis offers to help him show the world what kind of person he is.

After a few missed attempts at getting James to come to the party, Dennis finally has the opportunity to see James in his home town and experience James’s younger life as a farmer. Here he shoots the most stunning images of James and his family and on return to New York Dennis is surprised to see that everyone loves his work.

This story is truly sad and breathe taking at the same time because you see this film idol outside of the lime light. You understand his internal struggle a little bit better, but you know that there is so much more going on behind the scenes.
