I can write volumes on this monster-verse and the enormous potential that they are tapping into for expanding this franchise. It’s something that is being done well, a formula that is working and I only want to see more. This movie ties in well to the Monarch project and Godzilla storyline, off course if you don’t know what I am referring to then it’s about time to start watching even if this is your first glimpse at this movie universe.

Scientists, soldiers and adventurers unite to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific Ocean. Cut off from everything they know, they venture into the domain of the mighty Kong, igniting the ultimate battle between man and nature. As their mission of discovery soon becomes one of survival, they must fight to escape from a primal world where humanity does not belong.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts . I loved it and it left me in anticipation of the next movie in this monster-verse. Kong is a larger than life hero with the human characters in the movie only driving his story forward. Creature design and visual landscapes were amazing.
