Let me start off by saying that I am a massive fan of Greek Mythology, and this sort of Background is why games like AC:Odyssey and God of War have a absolutely massive fanbases. Combine that with the graphic style of Breath of The Wild and you’re sure to have an absolute gem of a game right?

I was immediately interested in this game when it was still titled “Gods and Monsters” and have been following it up until the release date when I finally got my hands on a copy!

Immortals Fenyx Rising puts you in the Sandals of a new Greek Warrior named Fenyx. Fenyx is the last survivor of a Shipwreck that crashed on the Golden Isle. You quickly discover everyone has been turned into stone while mythological beasts roam the valley. The story is Narrated by none other than Zeus and Prometheus who take turns telling the story of Fenyx’s adventure to Save the gods and defeat the Massive Titan Typhon.

Fenyx’s goal is to rescue four gods and restore them to their former glory. Each god, or Goddess, Represents their own region of the Free-Roam map. Regions are filled with Quests and Challenges that help Fenyx get new powers, progress through the story and become more powerful.

By searching through the regions Fenyx gets collectibles called Ambrosia- Which upgrades health. Zeus’s Lightning – Which Upgrades Stamina, and Charon’s coins which are spent to upgrade Fenyx’s Skills and Purchase new powers in the hall of the gods. All of which will ultimate help you through the many quests of the game.

Final Thoughts:

Immortals Fenyx Rising is definitely one of the best games Ubisoft has launched this year, Even if it was in the same Launch window as Valhalla and WD: Legion.
