Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a military shooter in an open world which you can either tackle solo or on Co-op of up to 4 players while being provided with the option of having the game more like an RPG by obtaining armour and weapons with a higher score and increased damage output or have a more immersive/realistic game mode where gear score does not count or have the 2 combined into one to enjoy the game your way.
Starting with your chopper being attacked and shot down as you arrive onto the island, you try to find any remaining survivors only to find out that your ex-brothers in arms are hunting the remaining Ghosts, along with this you also must find a way off the island which is guarded by advanced technology and security systems such as drones which stop anyone from entering or leaving the island to keep their operations a secret.
We revisited the game that was launched in 2019 that was an amazing game with memories friends were able to share and set a new standard for co-op games, and with the updates, they have provided the solo and offline players to be able to join and customize a team suited for your playstyle. This gave a whole new perspective on the game and reminds one of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter where you can provide your squad with orders. Furthermore, these Squad members are not like the typical NPC teammates that miss all their shots or do not kill enemies, they adapt to their weapons and shoot to kill the enemies as if they were other online players.
With Graphics still looking great 2 years later and having a game that the Devs are still working on with maintenance, updates and improvements for Breakpoint, it felt like a new game with the same story.
Final Thoughts: Graphics still look good compared to games released between 2019 and 2021 and the time and effort spent by the devs weren’t in vain as I was able to enjoy the game as if it was my 1st time playing it, looking forward to what they have still in store for the game going forward and would recommend a revisit for any Tom Clancy fan.
