We all remember that immature, pointless and ominous event of the schoolyard fight usually taking place after school. The news of it eagerly goes viral for the hype to build and so does the intensity. Well this movie tries to bring a comedic context to this by pitting two teachers against each other. Yes the film is predictable and slapstick but I don’t think anyone would want to watch a movie like this for a deep storyline. It has a vast comedic supporting cast that keeps the tempo going throughout the movie.

On the last day before summer vacation, high school teacher Andy Campbell tries his best to keep it together amid senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that threaten his job. Things go from bad to worse when he crosses Ron Strickland, the school’s toughest and most feared teacher. When Strickland gets fired, he challenges Campbell to a fight after school. As news of the showdown spreads like wildfire, poor Andy desperately seeks any way out of his date with certain doom.

Its follows the same premise as other versus movies like Aliens vs Predator, Jason vs Freddy, Batman vs. Superman etc. but ridicules this genre as we know the main characters are going to give up the fight and start working together at some point, we all know there can never really be a clear winner in these movies because we just love to watch the buildup. This movie diffuses the tension with crazy antics and over the top personalities. It’s funny in that it lack maturity, even if the story just revolved around the daily activities of these school teachers. This would make a great comedy TV show spin off if these actors decided to give up their movie careers.
