Farming Simulator 22 Review

Ready to climb back into tractors, pickup trucks and assist other farmers with their crops or start your own farm on a piece of land? Yes Farming Simulator 22 is back to satisfy your farming needs with a twist as they have introduced Seasonal Changes to the game

Seasonal Changes will cause crops to be ideal to plant during certain seasons, and if left unharvested would die off and you would be losing valuable cash. This brought an additional challenge for the players along with planning becoming part of the game

You have been allowed to have multiple saved games leaving you with various profiles in different locations and different difficulties to try and get a hang of the game, especially for the newer players to the Farming Simulation game series.

The vehicles in the game can be bought as a 2nd hand vehicle as well to save you cash for the medium/hard difficulty settings, or you can just borrow the equipment needed, however, this gets deducted from the profit that you would have been making for the job you have taken.

Once you start getting a hang of it or want to try and figure out how to do a specific job, you can assign AI to take over the vehicle and do the job for you, at a fixed rate of course. This creates the opportunity however to attend to jobs and attend to your farm yourself or do multiple tasks simultaneously to boost your income.

You might find yourself on a farm across from the map from time to time, far away from the shop or your vehicle, that’s not a problem, however, as you can create tasks for your AI friends to move your vehicles as well for you around the map, providing that they can reach the destination and does not get blocked along the way.

Some players might feel that the game is a bit difficult for beginners as the tutorial does not feel like it’s really covering everything from A-Z and leaves one googling to get assistance with a task or job you are trying to complete.

The AI also does sometimes get stuck when they are moving vehicles for you, such as accidentally get stuck driven in a wall or once they get stuck in traffic they leave your vehicle right where it is, but knowing this popular title that a lot of players are excited about we are sure that this will get fixed soon.

Final Thoughts: This game rewards teamwork, whether it’s with AI or another player. It has catchy music feeling fitting to the game, however, some players might feel like the map is hard to understand, some new players might be left frustrated trying to figure out the dos and don’ts of the game. But once you can get an understanding you will enjoy the game for weeks or months without an end.
