DC Entertainment Reveals Mortal Kombat X Comic Book Series

For all of us who are comic book fans this here is some Great news! DC Entertainment revealed a new series for Mortal Kombat X.

During their “DC DIGITAL: DOWNLOAD THIS!” panel at New York Comic Con, DC Entertainment unveiled the news they also showed two great covers which can be seen below and they depict Sub-Zero and Scorpion. This new series will serve as a prequel to the game and if it is going to be anything like Injustice: Gods Among Us then this will be a must read series. It will feature many favourite characters as well as the next generation of Kombatants.

The series is being written by Shawn Kittelsen with interior art by Dexter Soy and covers by Ivan Reis. The series will debut in January 2015, so make sure to pre-order yours at your Favourite Comic Shop. Joe (Smallville Comics) you can put my name down!

Currently in development by NetherRealm Studios and to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the upcoming Mortal Kombat X game beckons players back to the deadly tournament for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 14th, 2015.

DC has done a great job with the Injustice: Gods Among Us prequels and now it is an ongoing series which I love to read hopefully this will be the start of a great Mortal Kombat ongoing series! Plus this has got to be one of my most anticipated games for next year.
