Will this be the new pair for the people?
Beautiful in design, slim in style but crisp in finishes! The mouse and pad combo make for perfect finish to any gamers desk, with their bright and bold colours shining through the RGBs like a unicorn’s fart on a sunny day, simply lovely. They are definitely one of the brighter RGBs I have seen in peripherals for a while now, however, my only issue is with the OLED screen on the mouse, one Questions: Why? The idea is great and I was actually excited for it but practically I never ever ever ever ever used it, in fact, it was off for a few days because the software was not set to start on boot and I hadn’t even noticed. The OLED display is capable of showing you info such a as; CPU usage, GPU usage, System Volume, RAM usage, Profile selected, Lift of distant and quite a bit more, however, I found it way more convenient to have those on screen and use the OLED screen to show a cooler picture I custom made in the Coolermaster software.
Coolermaster is fast becoming a popular peripheral brand, with some people using Coolermaster as their exclusive kit. This would make you think that they would have a great software with the mechanics to back up their hardware, well, they don’t. I do see what they were going for though, the software is simple and extremely user friendly, almost to the point that it doesn’t give you enough customization. I spend a full hour trying to figure out how to get the palm light on the mouse to stay on a spectrum run, after hours spent online and doing research, it turns out it only does that out the box and when you install divers you have to use the software presets. There is a custom lighting tab that pretty much responds to nothing and doesn’t work, so I gave up on that! Not even google could help me here. M only suggestion is for there to be an advanced tab for users like me, who want to play….You know, like Razer has. The MP750 pad doesn’t have a preset controller that needs to be mentioned, it helped, A LOT.
Smooth. That is it. The mouse and pad go together like ebony and ivory, playing away to the sweet sonnets of Beethoven. The thick pad with its smooth top was nothing but perfect for speed, precision and total annihilation. The thick RGB skirting gave my no hassles on my arm or my wrist either, which was my main concern here. I was using the large pad which gave me just enough room to play my FPS games with great movement and fluidity, but even if I needed to readjusted, the LOD on the mouse worked like a charm and I never skipped a beat trying to reposition my aim. The main issue I had was with the mouse, the mouse worked like a charm but after long game session my hand started to cramp because the mouse wasn’t heavy enough and I was using my hand more than my wrist to move, the addition of weight customization would put this mouse up there for me
