You can now finally own Batman V Superman on Blu-Ray to enjoy anytime you want, but most often the best for owning these movies on Blu-Ray is not just the feature film but what you get extra.

There are two versions of Batman V Superman on Blu-Ray, the one is the normal version and the other is the ultimate edition. The Ultimate Edition includes over 30 minutes of extra feature film that was not included in the cinematic release. This version is rarer to get your hands on and although the 30 minutes extra on the film does explain certain things better it is up to you if you want to try and get your hands on this rare item.

The bigger question is, if the normal Blu-Ray version is still worth getting, and the answer is yes. Not only will you own the feature film in awesome HD quality but you will also get over 2 hours of extra content to watch. The Special Features on the Blu-Ray is great and I will explain them below, the only thing I miss on the Blu-Ray is a deleted scenes section and blooper or gag reel.

The Special Features you do get to experience is great though and it doesn’t matter how well you know the characters or DC universe as everyone will learn something either about the characters or the plan DC has with the movie universe.

First up you will get to see how they envisioned on introducing the Justice League characters in the film and why they chose the actors or what versions of the characters to use. Then you can learn on how far back the clash between Superman and Batman goes, how deep it runs and why they thought of putting these two giants in one story.

Exploring the origins of Wonder Woman is always great and learning more about her history before her own movie next year is key. Then you can watch how they built Superman’s character and vision and also the same with Batman, where they went differently than before and why.

Other things to see is the making of the Batmobile and Batcave, this is very interesting to see and all I can say is I want a Batmobile!

The last clips on the special features are Save the Bats, it shows you how the cast became aware of the crises we have with Bats dying of white nosed disease, especially in North America and what they did to help and how you can help out as well.

Other than the special features the Blu-Ray consist of all the settings and features you need to experience this Blockbuster in all its glory in the comfort of your own home! This is a must add to your collection!
