Ever dreamed of being in a real live RPG game? Well now you can play out this dream for Daniel. He is an average guy that likes video games and is a novice RPG player. One night while playing an RPG with his friends, Daniel’s went to the loo. All of a sudden all the lights went off and “Daniel was not in Kansas anymore.”

Daniels gets transported to Harnakon, a medieval castle. At first Daniel thinks that he is hallucinating and plays along, taking chances and playing everyone around him to his advantage. Soon enough he realises that this is not a mere hallucination but real life…

UnEpic was first released on PC in 2011 and on OSx, Linux and Wii U in 2014. Now PS4 and PS Vita owners can also enjoy this strange and fun little game. The style of the game is based on the old NES RPG games but a lot of modern features are added to give the game that extra edge.

You will find everything you want in an RPG all compile in this title from gathering loot, upgrading, buying, selling and quests. I played for hours without realising how much time I actually spent playing, for me this is always a good sign.

The Story is unique in its own right and some great references are used throughout. The gameplay is smooth and everything from the music to the dialogues fits the theme the developers wanted to portray.

Any classic RPG lover will enjoy this game but I will urge even new comers to try it out is it will give them a sense of RPG games back in the day but still allowing for something modern.
