Are you still using that cheap office chair that feels like it was made out of rock and feels as smooth as sandpaper? Well, there is a solution for that and it’s called the Redragon Metis Gaming Chair!
Coming in at about R3000-R3500, it would be a great upgrade for your current chair. The high-density foam that the chair uses feels firm but not rock hard(that’s why you are upgrading!), it also keeps its shape after two weeks of sitting on it. The one thing I wasn’t too crazy about was the lower back cushion, it just didn’t fit too well for how I sit.
The Redragon Metis is covered with PU Leather in a Red and Black finish, the PU fabric is very resilient and feels good on your skin. The casters on the Redragon Metis is Polyurethane and is as smooth as butter on most of the surfaces that I tested it on. The one thing you would notice is that the Redragon Metis has fixed arm rests and that this would let you only lean back by about 21 degrees. All that means is that you can’t take a nap in the chair by lying completely flat, just a small shut eye.
Overall I was really happy with the Redragon Metis Gaming Chair, it was very comfy on the tuckus and rolled around like I was in a Rolls Royce. I wasn’t too happy with the back cushion but that was easily solved by taking it off (it’s a clip-on version). I would recommend this to all gamers that have a tight budget. This is your local mad scientist signing out.
