When the title of the movie spells out the entire plot, there’s really not much to say as you know it is not going to be a deep meaning commentary on love in the modern era but rather another opportunity for Zac Efron to run around partially naked on screen.

Mike and Dave are summoned to a family meeting in which their concerned father decides that because of their previous history at other family events, they can only attend their sister’s wedding if they have dates. Mike and Dave put out an ad for dates on Craigslist which then goes viral and the brothers go on The Wendy Williams Show to advertise themselves. Meanwhile, Tatiana (Aubrey Plaza) and Alice (Anna Kendrick) are slacker party girls who have just been fired for showing up to their waitressing jobs drunk. The brothers are unwittingly duped into a chance meeting with the pair of girls and decide to take them to their sister’s wedding in Hawaii.

Over the top slapstick comedy, however it feels like the actors were jammed together into these roles as the onscreen chemistry seems forced and the gags are pushed too far.

If you loved Dirty Grandpa and the Bad Neighbours movies, this one is sure to please you as it does not deviate from that formula.
