The zombie apocalypse seems to be cropping up all over the place and now even Arnold Schwarzenegger has climbed on the band wagon.

Maggie is a story based on a girl who decided to run away from home after her mother passed away a few years back. She felt she needed to find her true self and what she wanted to accomplish in her life, but tragically her plans take a harsh turn as the world is plunged into darkness by a virus that kills you slowly.

Even though Maggie told her father, Wade, not to go looking for her, he did so anyway for fear that his daughter may be infected or worse, lying in a ditch somewhere. To his relief he finds her in the quarantine bay of a hospital and but with a thousand pounds of emotional boulders, Wade realizes his daughter is sick.

With the help of a doctor friend, Wade takes Maggie home so that she can spend her last days with her family, but the doctor warns Wade that soon he will have to make the direst of choices a lot sooner than he would like.

The film was not very captivating in the essence of a story line, but the idea of how this virus acts can be seen as interesting. I didn’t quite feel for the film and if more thought was put into the storyline then perhaps this story could have been a great one.
