Logtitech is known for their peripherals and especially their G range. I had the opportunity to review the Logitech G230 Headset recently and although the G233 was announced just the other day this might still be of interest.
Some differences you might get in this headset compared to other are that the earcups are removeable for cleaning, they can also swivel and lay flat, it has a fold up mic and convenient on-cable volume and mute controls.
The headset sits very comfortable and has a sturdy built, the over the earcups offer great comfort and will cancel out some external sounds. The fold up mic is great as it is completely out of your way if not used. The headset has two separate jacks for the headset and microphone, for me this is a bit out dated as nowadays you get a lot more jacks that can support the combo jack. So if you want to use this on your PS4 then you cannot use the mic unless you get a converter to convert the two jacks to a combo one.
The headset will cost you between R900 – R1000 and can easily compare to other headsets in the price range. The cable is long, over 2 meters, which is always a bonus for gamers. If you want more extras then you will have to start looking at higher price range headsets as what this headset offer in this range is quite cool.
Logitech always delivers on their items and headsets are definitely one of their great lines, I hope that I can get my hands on the G233 soon so I can give you some input on that as well.
