An aspiring musician and a woman lost in New York meet expectantly, hitting it off quite romantically.

Nick Vaughan (Chris Evans) is a musician preparing for the audition of his life. While using grand central as a practice ground, he noticed this woman running at high speed towards the platform housing the train leaving for Boston, and like all Cinderella films go she drops an item she values – more specifically – she drops her phone.

Nick catches her attention when she misses her train and asks if he could help her with her endeavour to get home. At first she is quite rude and insistent on being left alone, but Nick feels that it is a moral obligation to try to assist her and, well, because it was early morning in New York and she really had nowhere to go.

These two wondering souls make the most of the next eight hours as they try everything to get her back to Boston before day break. Getting to know each other in a matter of hours soon turns into a truth fest and they learn that they have a lot more in common than they thought.

This is a different kind of love story and one that will pull at your heart strings. Chris Evans plays his role flawlessly and you see him not only as a superhero but also as a musician and a romantic.

Truly a wonderful film and one that everyone should watch.
